During the tuning process the specific vehicle map on the chip of the electronic control unit is optimized particularly for your car. This optimisation can include adapting the point of fuel injection time, the charging pressure, the injected fuel quantity, etc. These data are input in your car by programming them on a tuning chip or with the help of an On-Board-Diagnosis (OBD).
